Biohazard Odor Removal
Biohazard odor removal is for smell that remains after a death, sewage event, or other biological source. Odor treatment works only when the source is gone or is removed as part of the same job. Covering a smell with fragrance does not finish the work. We refer this to partner companies that already handle the underlying cleanup, not as a standalone perfume service.
Why a professional company
Biological odor is often in porous materials. If those materials stay, machines and sprays have little to work with. A company that does this work looks for the source first.
What partner companies typically do
Partners typically find and remove the source, then use the odor methods they actually offer. They should tell you if a smell may persist because of subfloors or ductwork they are not replacing. They invoice you directly.
What to do right now
- Do not fog the house with consumer deodorizers as the only step.
- Note which rooms are affected and whether the source has already been removed.
- Keep the area closed off from the rest of the home if you can.
- Say if anyone in the home is sensitive to strong products.
Some property insurance policies may cover part of biohazard cleanup; many don't, and coverage depends on your policy. Check with your insurer. Insurance and self-pay jobs are accepted. Top Clean Bio is not an insurer, adjuster, or public adjuster and does not handle or negotiate claims.
