Guides for the hours after
Plain steps. Nothing graphic. If someone is in danger, call 911.
After a property is released
Wait until you are told the property is released. Do not enter to start cleaning, and do not throw away items until you know whether anyone still needs them. Then request a referral. Generally the property owner arranges cleanup after release.
After an unattended death
Keep people and pets out of the room. Do not try to remove furniture or treat the odor yourself. A partner company has to see how far the condition spread before it can estimate the work. If you or someone you know is in crisis, call or text 988 (Suicide & Crisis Lifeline).
Hoarding, without judgment
Severe accumulation can include waste, pests, or blocked exits. The person who lives there should have a say in what is kept when they still control the home. A referral can cover the biological part of the job. It is not a reason to shame anyone.
Crime victim compensation
Some states list crime-scene cleanup on the official page for their victim-compensation program. The state-by-state list is crime victim compensation. Where that page is not clear, check with the program. Top Clean Bio is a referral service and does not perform cleanup.
Grief support
If you or someone you know is in crisis, call or text 988 (Suicide & Crisis Lifeline). Top Clean Bio is not a counseling service. A funeral home can also help you find local support.
